Shockingly good for the price. We've rented and borrowed much more expensive projectors and this one is just as good as those. The pictures attached were taken in our living room and the sun wasn't even completely down (about 6:30pm EST). I'd definitely recommend it for family movie nights and fun get togethers with friends. One thing that's not so great is the sound. I'd definitely recommend hooking up a good set of speakers.

As stated in the description this projector needs to be used in a dark room because it is not powerful enough to be used in day light or a lite up room.
You can use this projector close to a wall to give you a image size of around 70cm wide but if you go any closer it will not be able to focus, the description states the projector is bested at 1.5 to 2 meters away giving you a screen size of 49-80 inches at that distance the picture quality was very good and you can make the screen bigger, at 4 meters away the screen size will be 130 inches. I watched a movie with the screen set up as 130 inches, the resolution does start to drop if you go over 80 inches but it was still very watchable at 130 inches and i would say at that distance the video quality was about the same as standard definition.
Since full HD is 1080p and this projector is not full HD it is only 480p the video quality was very good. It is better to play HD content on this projector because you will get the best video quality that this projector offers you, if you start to play standard definition content of it, the video quality will not look as good.
You can go into setting to adjust the screen settings which can improve video quality, i found the preset brightness to be a bit low and i adjusted it to 60, it made a massive improvement in the screen quality since before it was darker than it should of been. So you have plenty of settings to play with to get the quality just right for you.
On the side of the protector it was a focus wheel which you need to adjust, it also has a tilt wheel which you need to adjust to make the picture square, if you adjust the angle of the projector you will need to adjust the tilt of the lens as well and when you come to put the lens cap on you will need to adjust the focus wheel until the lens is back inside, which then allows you to put the lens cap back on.
The angle adjustment leg can adjust the projector 1.8cm higher at the front which will shift the image higher up on the wall, even adjusting the leg a little bit can make the image sit a lot higher up the wall and the further back you are with the projector the higher the image will go.
The projector has a camera tripod screw hole thread in the base which allows you to fix the projector to a tripod, the projector can also be fitted to the ceiling using the screw hole thread and in the settings you can change the projector to project upside down.
The projector has a wide range of inputs, it has VGA, AV, SD card, HDMI and USB, one of the USB ports is used to provide power to devices, which means you can plug a google chrome stick into the projectors HDMI port and take power from the projectors USB port.
The projector will only read up to 32GB because it will only read Fat32 format.
If you are reading data from a USB stick or a SD card the projector has a built in media player which is nicely laid out, it allows you to play videos, photos and music. The media player itself works very well, it has all the controls that you would expect a media player to have and it supports a wide range of common formats and codecs.
When you change the input to AV, HDMI or VGA, you just have the normal corner menu which pops up allowing you to change input.
I found the buttons which are on the projector hard to use when navigating all the menus and i found it much easier to use the remote control which comes with the projector. The remote control works very well, it worked at the front of the projector and at the back of the projector. The remote needs 2 AAA batteries which are not included.
The projector has built in speakers but the speakers are only small, they don’t sound overly good but thats the same with most projectors and this projector has an audio output which allows you to plug it into a speaker or headphones.
Since the projector uses LEDs, the bulbs will not blow like normal lamp projectors, LEDs do not get hot either which means the projector can be used for a longer time period, you can also pack the projector away after using it since it wont need to cool down and because it uses LEDs it doesn't have loads of loud fans cooling down the lamp. The projector will still get warm because it has a power transformer inside it but it will not get as hot as a lamp projector and it does have a fan to keep the transformer cool but the fan is not very loud compared to projectors which use lamps.
The projectors build quality is very good, it is made out of plastic but the plastic is good quality and the overall construction is very solid. The design of the projector is very sleek, it has a triangle design on the top which has a brushed steel design on the plastic.
Overall for the price of the projector, i am more than impressed with how good it is and how good the build quality is! If you are buying this projector you do have to keep in mind it is not full 1080p HD so the picture quality will not be as good compared to full HD TVs but i think i would pick watching a movie on a 130 inch screen at a lower video quality than watching a movie on a full HD 42 inch TV! When watching a movie on a big screen like this, it is pretty impressive.
Due to the room being dark, the pictures that i took with the camera does not show the true quality of the projector because in low light the camera does not preform as well.

Video review - good projectorBy SBD
[[VIDEOID:b81b2e06793538de41d7000fbed91546]] This is a good projector. It is stylish, has a large diameter lens and comes with a decent remote control - so much better than the thin remote controls with buttons that look like blisters.
The best way to show you what this projector, sent to me for review, is like and its features is via a video, so I have made a video review. If you do not enlarge the video to full screen, it sometimes plays with sound but no video (a blank, black screen) - this seems to be an Amazon glitch. To cure it, press the 'full screen' icon. If you are reading this on a mobile phone, you may be unable to view the video - you will be able to watch it on a computer or tablet.
You cannot expect, of course, the same performance as a $300-$400 projector. Close up, the picture is not crisp but then any DVD projected onto a wall is magnified many times and so cannot look crisp. Once you step back and view the picture, as shown in the video, it looks a lot better and is fine for watching DVDs.
In my video, I show you the sound coming from the projector as I wanted to show you what it is like. When using the projector, I connect it to an external speaker for better sound quality and a higher volume.
I cannot believe that you can get a projector for as little as this.
I am impressed with this projector.
