Worth the price and the experienceBy V. Nav
THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING:
- These Virtual Reality goggles are app/ video specific (unless you have a converter to make videos compatible with the goggles).
- These are no Oculus Rifts or Samsung Gear, but I feel that for the price it's perfect.
- Assembly is required, but it's pretty easy since the instructions are right on the cardboard.
PROS:
- Very nice for VR beginners, or people who simply just want a taste of VR (virtual reality)
- Clever design, as well as magnetic toggle to pretty much select 'OK' or to move forward in situations
- The recommended Cardboard app (found on a Android and Apple appstore) is very straightforward and has a great demo of VR
- Comfortable feel due to padding included
- Fits my Iphone 6s, although it sticks out maybe a millimeter on the sides.
- Quality of cardboard is great (kind of weird saying that) but its pretty thick and sturdy.
CONS:
- Adhesive is not very sturdy next to the magnetic toggle, simple fix with some super glue and/or tape
- ** Not the goggles fault but app selection is limited, but still videos can be found on youtube
- Have to guess where to put velcro head-strap and padding, but pretty common sense and works well
- Rubberband to hold the phone down, but its pretty secure since the cardboard itself already holds your phone down.
CONCLUSION:
All in all, this was a great buy. For the reasonable price, I feel this was a nice little preview into the realm of VR. I personally recommend the 'Sisters' app which features a scary and chilling experience, as well as the default cardboard app. I learned a bit late, but WEAR HEADPHONES this makes the VR world a bit more surreal. The experience is great, and gives this feeling that you can be anywhere you want to without leaving your home. I definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Such a cool toy! Kids and adults alike are mesmerized by this magic cardboard box! The 3D is cool, but how does the 3D scenes move so perfectly to your movements! My 5 year old daughter loves the "urban hike" on the Google Cardboard app. She feel like she's actually been to the Eiffel Tower, Venice and the great barrier reef! It really is like being there!
Works great with my iPhone 6s, my wife's iPhone 5 and my daughter's Samsung Galaxy Light. Never did try the strap however, so can't speak to that.
You won't regret buying this. Hours of fun and party tricks for 15 bucks! What are you waiting for!

A nice entry into VR. Several apps are available, and not all work with every phone,...just like most things.
It is a glorified ViewMaster using the phones gyro so it allows viewer to rotate the object or view in multiple directions. The magnet activates the phone to select options. A fun purchase. Using Google's Tourguide in the palace is pretty amazing.
